Borrowing Library Materials
Loans
Users may borrow library books using Self-Check Machines located near the Library entrance. All other library materials are to be borrowed at the Information Services Counter.
Media materials are for private viewing by Library members only.
Returns
Users may return borrowed library materials
- via the Book Drop outside the Library entrance
- at the Information Services Counter
Renewals
Users may renew borrowed library materials
- using Self-Check Machines
- at the Information Services Counter
- via the Library Portal
An item can be renewed if there are no reservations placed on it and no outstanding fines.
Reservations
Users may reserve library materials out on loan and in-process via the Library Portal. Reserved items must be collected personally by the library member who had reserved the items.
Waiver of Library Fines
Users may request for waiver of library fines due to medical leave, hospitalisation leave, etc. Please attach documentary proof within 3 working days from date of return of borrowed items. Click here to submit the waiver request form.
