About your library card
Your library card is personal to you. Here's what you need to know:
Your library card is linked to your memebership — so it could be your student card, staff card, graduate card or other membership card.
Your card isn't transferable — only you can use it to borrow items.
You're responsible for all items borrowed on your card until you report it lost.
If your personal details change, update us.
Lost your card?
Report the loss to the Information Services Counter immediately. We'll protect your account from that point.
When your membership expires
If your membership is ending soon — for example, at the end of your course — your due dates will be adjusted to your membership expiry date. Return your items before the due date to avoid fines.
Note: Even after you graduate from NYP, you can keep using the library with a graduate membership.
