Professionals and external degree students at overseas universities are welcome to use our library. Find out how to apply, renew and manage your membership.
Who can apply?
Individual membership is open to professionals and external degree students of overseas universities.
Benefits you get
As an individual member, you can borrow library materials and visit our spaces. Find out more about your borrowing limits and loan periods.
Your membership is valid for 12 months from the date of registration.
Note: Individual members don't have remote access to the library's electronic resources due to licensing agreements with publishers and database vendors.

Fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-convertible.
How to apply
Complete the online application form. You'll need to upload:
A letter of a letter from your university or company confirming your designation.
A coloured passport-size photo
Pay $250.70 at the Information Services Counter on Level 4 (NETS accepted).
We'll send you an email with the outcome of your application within XX working days/weeks.
Collect your card at the Information Services Counter.
How to renew
Complete the online renewal form.
Pay via AXS or at the Information Services Counter on Level 4 (NETS accepted).
Once your card is ready, we will send a notification to your registered email address.
You can collect the card at the Information Services Counter on Level 4 during operating hours.
Your renewed membership takes effect the day after your current membership expires.

Apply for wireless access
Complete the Wireless Access request form once your:
Membership card has been issued (for new members)
Renewal has been approved
