What is copyright? ©️
Copyright is a legal right that protects original work.
It gives the creator control over how their work is used. Work such as books, articles, videos, music, drawing, photographs are protected by copyright.

It helps you use learning materials the right way — without getting into trouble or disrespecting someone else's work.

Records of Educational Copying
Staff must complete a Record Form to capture data on multiple copying for educational purposes as allowed under Section 198 of the Copyright Act.
Please ensure:
not more than 10% or 1 chapter of a published work is copied;
not more than 1 article from a periodical is copied.
Staff Access to 123RF (royalty free images)
Our library has a 123RF licence for staff use (NYP staff only). Download these images from the comfort of your own device.
You can request for the password and login ID by contacting our library staff Tan Li Li or Ong Cheng Leong.
